Pregnancy- take 6

19 WEEKS
 Tuesday August 6, 2013

This was the week before my birthday and we had Emma so it was lots of fun!

1. I have had a really hard time sleeping! Growing cramps, indigestion, frequent pee trips to the loo and my hips or si- joints have been giving me a lot of trouble, all are hard on me while trying to sleep.
2.This week I have felt really good about the name Eloise...but we still dont know for sure.

This is my good friend Christine Washburn from my ward here in Midvale Utah. We both are pregnant with our first babies. She is six weeks a head of me and is expecting a boy :)

3. Christine and I started walking for exercise this week. We are very proud of our selves
4. We also have done some garage sale shopping. Which is SO FUN!

Emma joins us and we love it! She decided to try and catch butterflies while we walk.

and she DID! here is Christine helping Emma get a butterfly

The green thing is a leaf, but the white thing is a little butterfly :)

DUCKS!
 5. TMI WARNING!!! I went to bed one day and had crazy cramps! I was PRETTY scared but tried to just sleep through it. Then the next day after our walk in the morning I had some more cramps, but then I had run to the restroom and "eliminate". Oh the joys of pregnancy constipation! but at least I know what all that cramping was about

6. I still can not eat meat but i do LOVE CHEESE and SUGAR! So we headed down to Leatherbys for dinner. We ordered a HUGE ice cream sundae and cheese fries, not the healthiest dinner but we loved it!

 yum yum yum
 7. My sweet baby has been moving a lot lately! Its so fun! One thing is for sure she loves her ice cream! She does dances in my tummy after i eat it.

Randy came into the bathroom to find this sitting in the tub. They say you are not suppose to take hot baths but warm baths are just silly so i like to sit in hot water up to my legs. but then my upper half is cold so i decided to wear a long sleeve shirt. Randy laughed pretty hard when he found me crying, sitting in the bath with a shirt on and barley any water. he laughed and said "where is your phone i have to take a picture" after the pic he said " blog that!" ha ha cute husband!!!
8. Emotions are a big part of pregnancy as we all know...and this day I wasn't really sad..just emotional...if that even makes any sense.

Emma and i made play dough on Sunday after church while papa bear napped.

9. I have tried to have Emma feel the baby when she is moving or kicking and it is really hard. I think she has felt her a few times but this week we were visiting Randy at work when the baby was kicking, Emma and Leslea (Randy's receptionist) felt her kick really hard! it was so fun and Emma always gets sooo excited when she feels her sister move. To feel her move I have to put your hand practically down my pants because she is so low ha ha!

i got all these trinkets at a garage sale

10. Started the week at 121lbs ended at 124lbs

11. CRAZY STORY!
I texted my Dr to ask her to refill my Nausea medicine...she responded by saying " Kristina call me at the office we need to talk about your labs". So that scared me! when i called the office they put me on hold forever. then the receptionist finally answered and said that Dr Onieda was on another phone call, would i like to have her call me back? I told her that would be fine but i just don't want her to forget to call me. The receptionist said "Ya i heard Dr Onieda talking to the nurse about your labs and they said it was serious". After hearing that i told her i would like to wait on the phone. yikes! When my Dr got on she said that my labs came back abnormal. She said that our baby had a good chance of having down syndrome. She was confused because of how young i am. she then told me that in a week and a half i was scheduled to go get an ultra sound and further testing done with a specialist. before we got off the phone i asked her if she would tell me the numbers of hoe abnormal i was. She said sure and went to double check the papers, when she returned shes aid there had been a mix up with my dates. i took the test when i was 16 weeks but they put down that i was 19 weeks. so basically my levels are normal and baby should be just fine.
When i got off the phone with her i was shaking and i cried! I called Randy and he was not very happy at all with the Dr. I was at john and Natalie's when all this happened so Natalie ( who is not a big huger) gave me two hugs for comfort because Randy was not there :) that was sweet! The thing that surprised me was that when she told me my reaction was calm "ok, what do we do from her"? it wasn't panic but calm. We will love this sweet baby no matter what!!!

  1. I was really careful about taking hot baths with my first couple...but I am a bath woman...so the last few I take hot baths...and I soak all the way to my neck! It makes me a better momma! I don't take really long ones...but I will sit in the bath for 10 min. I don't do the jacuzzi...that's really HOT! I forgot one time with this one and I was worried, and my doctor said it's really about the temperature of the mom! If your hot, than the baby is hot!? That's my tip for the day...have a hotish bath...and enjoy it! :) (Just don't get it so hot that you feel heated...because that means the baby is hot too! :) I'm logged in under Chelsea's fake name...so this is Sherri!! :) LOVE YOU!
