VALENTINES DAY 2013

I am excited about blogging not only to share with family and friends how we are doing but mostly as a personal journal. I'm sure that is why most of you blog :) Having said that I will be trying to catch up on some holidays and memories from this past year. At the same time I will be posting about the present day. I really should post the past ones in order by dates, but what the heck ill just post about what ever ones I feel like that day :)

This past year was so important to me and my little clan because it was our first year as an official family. We made lots of fun memories and grew so much in our love for each other!

First Valentines Day as a married couple

These are the beautiful roses he brought home for me.
I had a little surprise for him too, waiting on the door step for when he got home... I made him a candy poster, that I have chosen not to show. but let me just say he loved it, even though it gave him quite a shock ;)

I told Randy that I would plan valentines day if he planned our anniversary. I would like to point out that I used Grandmother Young's china. Love you Gma!!!

So we started off with dinner, Heart shaped cheese ravioli form the one and only Costco, topped with alfredo sauce. They were really yummy and cute!

I asked Randy to pick up chocolate covered strawberries...but they were sold out. So he came home with that HUGE layered chocolate cake from Costco (see it, in the bottom right hand corner). The one that we all want every time we are there but NEVER is there a good enough reason to buy it. Ya that one! I am sad to say we ate the WHOLE thing (except for the last piece, we threw it away. We were so proud of our selves. ha ha!) that week. That's A LOT of cake! ...He also bought burritos ;)

Here is how I set up our family room. I put our air mattress down stairs for a few reasons; I wanted it to feel like we were some where else, I needed our stereo, and there were more place to put candles.

So we played something called "The sheet game" also known as "The Game of Love" I wont go into much detail except that it is a board game that you draw on your sheet. It is a total surprise to your spouse when he crawls into bed. It is SOOOO fun!!! So if your ever wanting to spice things up, give me a call and ill let you know how to make it.
We had such a fun night! We ate, played our "sheet" game, laughed, danced, had dessert and sparkling cider. It was a night to remember! I love you sweetheart!!!! be my valentine forever!!!!
